About Your Best Shot Photo and Anthony Fernando Photography

Anthony Fernando is a photographer and writer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I was born in Trinidad and Tobago and moved with my family in 1970. I started working as a delivery driver for Strains Camera stores and it is there my love for photography developed. After completing the computer programming and systems analysis course at Red River, I found that there were few jobs for programmers at that time and made the decision to try photography. I read books, asked questions and learned wherever and whenever I could.

I love photography, it is my passion and I bring that passion everytime I shoot. The comment that I appreciate the most is when a former client says that the photos I took are still their favourite.

I specialize in photos of Winnipeg and surrounding area, producing images that can be seen in Canad Inns hotel rooms, hallways and the new Fairlield Inn near Polo Park. My images have also been used in magazines and by Destination Winnipeg to promote the City of Winnipeg.

I also love the interaction present at events and veiw each opportunity to take photos of people as a portrait session where the aim is to get the very best image possible.
